Whether you have worshipped here all your life or are stepping into a church for the first time, there is a place for you. Please do stay for coffee after the 10:30, and say hello.

Our history
St. Aldric's has stood on Johnson Street since 1872, built of the same grey limestone as much of old Kingston. Its windows were added one by one over sixty years, most given in memory of parishioners.
The building has changed less than the parish. Today St. Aldric's is home to students, retired professors, young families, newcomers to Canada, and a food cupboard that has not missed a Saturday since 1991.
The good news
At the heart of all we do is Jesus Christ. In the words of the Gospel:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17, KJV)
What we believe
A parish of the Anglican Church of Canada
We pray with the Book of Common Prayer and the Book of Alternative Services, and with the whole Church we confess the faith of the Apostles' Creed:
Read the full statement
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried, He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; The holy Catholick Church; The Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of sins; The Resurrection of the body, And the Life everlasting. Amen.

Questions
Do I have to be Anglican to receive communion?
No. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive. Anyone may come forward for a blessing; just cross your arms over your chest.
Will I know what to do?
Everything you need is in the service leaflet handed to you at the door. Stand, sit, or kneel as you are comfortable.
Is the building accessible?
Yes. The Johnson Street entrance has a ramp, and the parish hall and washrooms are on the same level as the church.
