From our pastor
Welcome to Tannery Street. We are not a big church, and that is the point: someone will learn your name, and you will probably be invited to lunch.
Come as you are. The coffee is strong and the welcome is real.

About us
Tannery Street has been part of Stratford since the 1890s, when it was built by workers from the tannery down the road. The tannery is long gone; the church is still here, and still mostly run by volunteers.
We are around eighty people on a Sunday, from babies to a member who turned 101 last spring. Everybody knows everybody, and we would love to know you.
At the heart of it
Behind the potlucks and the choir and the steeple there is one reason we gather:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, KJV)
What we believe
We are a congregation that loves God and our neighbours, follows Jesus Christ, and reads the Bible together. All are welcome at the Lord's table.

The food bank shelf
About 40 bags of groceries a month for the Stratford food bank.
Prayer shawls
Every patient on the palliative floor gets one, knitted here.

Requests are read at Sunday worship unless you ask us to keep them private.
